He was full professor at Sciences Po from 2005 to 2012 and is an honorary member of the Institut Universitaire de France (IUF 2003). He was Invited Fellow at Berkeley in 2000 and Invited Professor at Columbia University in the City of New York in 2011-2012. He is a specialist of income and wealth inequalities, cohort dynamics and comparative social policies.

My work focuses on understanding the observed cross-country productivity differences through the lens of resource misallocation, structural transformation, and technology adoption, using both general equilibrium models and micro data.
